Arthur, I hope that you are feeling better . . . and that you don't try to rush things. We can wait for the battle of Tippelbruder a while longer yet.

We don't want you to have a relapse. Have a great new year instead.

It's just that I can't concentrate on my other gaming with an easy mind until that Battle gets finished ... and I've no idea what Edie's plan is yet ...

Get better, Good Friend, get well!

Good to see you're able to paint -a very good sign in itself- but do not rush things.

I hope your 'other gaming' will not push the 'Tricorns' too far back?

Best wishes,
Jean-Louis

Not to worry, Jean=Louis,
First of all, my wife is absolutely obsessive compulsive when it comes to taking care of my infected leg.
Secondarily, she wants to use the battle to experiment with her new camera.
Third, right now, most of my other gaming occurs with me lying on my belly in bed and trying to find a good box to roll dice in ...
Though I am spending some time thinking about my Pigg's Eye blog!
speaking of which, time to put the leg up again!
:(

sounds like the 'fight' for the moment has degraded into a series of skirmishes in the wooded hills, then winter proper set in; cutting off the forces from each other at least until after the snows abate...

as good an excuse as any other and permits 'recovery' time!

get well soon

:-)

Friends, I am TRYING to take of myself, but my family has a long tradition of not waiting long enough for their recovery ... my wife, as I said above, is quite obsessive in watching over me this time.
(It's been a few years since the doctors have said, "Behave or die!" and she get nightmares).
So I get to watch old movies, a half a movie at a time, and similar efforts. Quite frustrating as I'm all set to go on the battle!
And I'm working up more fun for Bill and his poor Intendant at Frankfurter ....

If you have too much 'free time' for your taste, thank about a *coexistence* of Franksonia -deeply involved, against its own will, in the Hesse-Seewald <-> Gallia struggle,

and your 'daisyesque' Frankfurt, peaceful, totally neutral and forgotten by the war: they are not mutually exclusive, and the latter can even make a cameo appereance here & /or the EvE blog?

Will (as a mean of 'killing time') the Ruler of one of these 2 country perhaps be tempted by a modest oversea colonization, Ober-Blindstiff / Levitzer Rabbinate fashion? A good excuse to bring back on the European theatre a colorful unit of Sepoys / Askaris: exoticism in uniforms was fashionable by the mid-18th C.....

Rest & get well!
