another view

Bill Protz found this excellent regional view and posted it on the Empire vs. Elector blog.
It shows some details which had bothered me and some names I hadn't been able to locate.
Among other things, my games between the Limburgers and the Frankfurters will need more hills :)

Hi Arthur,

Wow! That is a cool looking map, and it will make following the upcoming campaign much easier to follow. It is the Markgraaf's hope that Raubenstadtian Neutrality will be respected by both sides. (How vain a hope is that?) I can just see some young shavetail hussar justifying his incursion by saying, "But Sir, they had wagon after wagon of
cabbages!"

Yours,

Martin

Just to check again, where is Raubenstadt?
Then again, given the incredible intermixing of claims, it is quite probably that we're both intertwined to the point nobody can really tell ...

Hidelburg in Baden?
Heck, you're out of the line of fire anyway!
I've got resolve the battle of GinnHeim and then Limburg makes its big advance ...

Hi Arthur,

Just barely made it onto the map. Heh, heh, heh. Just the way the Markgraaf likes it. Looks like Frankfurt is in for some "interesting times"!

Yours,

Martin

Actually, I was one who found the map, but since I'm blocked from blogging at the office, I sent it to Bill and asked him to post it on EvsE.

I found it on wikipedia and they had a whole section on all of the states in the Holy Roman Empire, many of them with maps.

Arthur: I'm still confused over who is who and on what side in the greater Gallian-Germanian struggle. Could you clarify in a post soon?
